Located south of Prášily village, Prášilské Lake is one of the most mesmerizing glacial wonders in Central Europe. Sitting at an elevation of 1,080 meters on the slopes of Poledník mountain, the lake was carved out during the ice age and reaches depths of 15 meters. The surrounding pristine spruce forest and solemn stone moraine embankments create an aura of pure primeval solitude.
