Author Karel Klostermann praised the Vydra valley as a wild ravine of extraordinary natural beauty. The scenic pedestrian-only trail runs 7 km between Antýgl and Čeňkova Pila along the rushing river. Roughly halfway through is the historic log cabin Turnerova chata, offering authentic refreshments. The golden-brown peat waters rushing over massive mossy boulders make Povydří an unforgettable highlight of Šumava.
