South of the village of Prášily, in southwestern Bohemia, visitors
will find northern part of the Šumava National Park Prášilské Lake.
One in five Czech Šumava lakes of glacial origin lie in respectable
at an altitude of 1,080 meters and offers beautiful scenery and
rest during an easy walk through beautiful nature.

The lake on the eastern tip of the Poledník mountain has a glacial
cauldron maximum depth 15 meters and to this day it is possible to
see the old ones moraine ramparts left behind by a receding glacier.
